That would have the be my mother. I know, children are all supposed to grow up and parents die, blah, blah, blah. Amberites are different. That whole, live forever so long as we aren't mortally wounded, thing. I mean, Grand Dad is over ten thousand years old. Dad's almost a hundred and fifty.
But Mom wasn't an Amberite. Just a werewolf. So while she aged gracefully and lived longer than most humans, Dad and I still had to mourn her. Haven't lost anything that means more to me.
